Craig Ray Heckenberg

Craig Ray Heckenberg, 63, of Lockridge, IA passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, IA. As were his wishes, his body has been cremated. Craig Ray Heckenberg was born on February 27, 1959, in Fairfield, IA to Richard and Lucille Breuer Heckenberg. He graduated from Fairfield High School and immediately entered the workforce. Craig worked at several jobs throughout his life but always was around automobiles. He spent most of his life doing bodywork and painting cars for several different companies. Craig loved to spend time watching tractor pulls or looking for a good deal at an auction. He enjoyed anything that involved the outdoors and cared deeply for his family.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother-in-law, Mike Ross.

Left to honor his memory are his sisters, Marilyn (Karl) Henderson of West Burlington, IA, Marge Heckenberg of Fairfield, IA, and Connie Ross of Batavia, IA; one nephew, Cody Ross, as well as many extended family and friends.
