David Brach Grodjesk

Our loving brother, David Grodjesk, passed away suddenly on November 24, 2021. His kindness and generous soul found friends around the world and touched countless lives. India will honor him for having educated thousands of children. Time for David was split between India, Mexico, and Fairfield, Iowa where he passed away. We are overwhelmed by the global condolences and realize that his love and gentle spirit held no bounds. David was known for his quietness, but not all voices shout from mountain tops. Our family sincerely appreciates the love and kindness shown by his many friends in the Fairfield, Iowa community and around the world. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Selma Grodjesk and his brother, Ken. He is survived by Ken's wife, Carol Jean Grodjesk, and his sisters, Ellen Butler, Carol Grodjesk, and Tara Donna Grodjesk. Nephews and nieces include Ben Grodjesk, Joe Grodjesk, Rachel Patton, Jacob Rainey, and their families.
