Leon Glaha

Death notice - Birmingham Leon E. Glaha, age 77 of Birmingham died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield. Leon was born July 9, 1934 at Birmingham, the son of Earl Thomas and Murriel Parsons Glaha. A lifetime resident of Birmingham, Leon worked at the Iowa Malleable Iron Works in Fairfield. His wife Joyce Theisen preceded him in death. Also deceased are his parents, 2 brothers Harold and John E. Glaha and his sister Belzora Barron. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. As per Leon''s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has be accorded and interment of ashes will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral and Cremation Service of Birmingham and Fairfield.
