I am a lifelong resident of Van Buren County and couldn't imagine any other place being home.  I was raised in Mt. Sterling and Keosauqua and have lived most of my adult life in Birmingham.  I was privileged to work for Van Buren County in the role of Deputy Recorder for 13 1/2 years and was elected Recorder and served in that capacity for 12 years. I received my Bachelors in Education from Buena Vista and taught in the Van Buren Community School District for 7 years.  My husband, Kriss, and I owned and operated A & K Feed Service in Birmingham for many years until his death in 2009.  Currently, I work part time for Jeanette's Floral and Decor, Goehring Auction Service/MMT Enterprises and Cranston Family Funeral Home.

I enjoy involvement in  many community service organizations, volunteer at Harmony Elementary Center and shoot pool on the SE Iowa Women's Pool League. My greatest joy is to provide comfort and care to those in need.  I'm honored to serve you.
